Commission Information & Pricing

Hi! I’m Lucy, the illustrator behind Lula Rocks. I absolutely love working on commissions - whether it’s designing cute enamel pins, creating sticker artwork, or bringing someone’s idea to life with a personal illustration. If you love my style and are looking for something magical, I’d be delighted to work with you!

I offer both personal and commercial commissions, and I always aim to make the process easy and enjoyable for both of us.

Please note that I only take on commissions where the client is looking for my illustration style - not to copy other artists.

COMMERCIAL USE

Designed for creators, small businesses & indie brands who want to turn designs into physical products.

Timeframe: 1–2 weeks depending on client responsiveness.
Revisions: 1 at the sketch stage + 1 after final design (minor adjustments).
File format: As above unless another format is requested.
Licence: Includes commercial use for up to 500 reproductions. For larger runs, please get in touch to discuss extended licensing.

 

PERSONAL USE

Designed for special gifts, personal artwork, or just because you fancy something unique! (No commercial use.)

File format: JPG or PNG unless another format is requested.

💌 HOW TO BOOK

Commissions are open on a limited basis. If you'd like to work with me, just fill out my Commission Request Form and tell me a bit about your idea! I’ll get back to you as soon as I can with next steps.

If you’re not sure whether your idea fits – or you have something different in mind (like washi tape or a cute custom project) – please ask! I’m always happy to chat.

 

COMMISSION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read through these before submitting a commission request. By booking a commission, you agree to the terms below.

💌 Communication & Timelines

• I aim to respond to new commission enquiries within 3–5 working days.
• Once your commission is confirmed and the deposit is paid, turnaround is typically 1–2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and how quickly I receive feedback.
• I will always keep you updated if there are any delays.

💸 Payments & Pricing

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your slot.
• The remaining balance will be invoiced after the final artwork is complete, based on the agreed flat rate.
• All payments are made via PayPal invoice in GBP (£). 
• Invoices will be sent to you via. email.

✏️ Revisions

• You’ll receive a rough sketch first for approval. One round of sketch revisions is included.
• After the final artwork is delivered, one round of minor changes is included (e.g., colour tweaks, small detail changes).
• Additional revisions will incur extra charges.

📁 Final Files

• You will receive a high-resolution production-ready file suitable for manufacturing, plus any other file types as agreed at the start of the process.
• Files are for personal or commercial use depending on the project type selected.
• Please credit me (Lula Rocks) when sharing the artwork publicly (e.g., on social media, Kickstarter pages, etc.).
• Vector files are not included, as I don’t work in vector-based programs.
• If the artwork is used to create physical products, I’d love to see! Please send high-quality photos once your items are made - I may share them on my social media (with credit to your shop/brand).

🔒 Usage & Copyright

• For commercial commissions, you are welcome to produce physical products using the artwork.
• I retain copyright to all artwork I create. You may not resell, edit, or claim the artwork as your own design.
• I reserve the right to share the commissioned work on my portfolio or social media unless agreed otherwise.
• Includes commercial use for up to 500 reproductions. For larger runs, please get in touch to discuss extended licensing.
• If I feature the finished product on my website or social media, I will always credit your brand where possible.

🙅 Cancellations & Refunds

• If you cancel before I begin work, your deposit can be transferred to a future project.
• If work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
• If I need to cancel your project for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

🌈 Style & Expectations

• I only take on commissions that suit my existing illustration style. Please browse my portfolio to get a feel for my work.
• I don’t accept requests to copy other artist styles.
