Hi! I’m Lucy, the illustrator behind Lula Rocks. I absolutely love working on commissions - whether it’s designing cute enamel pins, creating sticker artwork, or bringing someone’s idea to life with a personal illustration. If you love my style and are looking for something magical, I’d be delighted to work with you!

I offer both personal and commercial commissions, and I always aim to make the process easy and enjoyable for both of us.

Please note that I only take on commissions where the client is looking for my illustration style - not to copy other artists.

COMMERCIAL USE

For creators, small businesses & indie brands who want to turn artwork into physical products.

Standard commercial licence (Tier 1, included)

All commercial commission pricing on this page includes my Standard Commercial Licence (Tier 1), unless otherwise stated on your quote/invoice.

What you can do:

• Manufacture and sell up to 500 units of the licensed design, for the agreed product type.
• Use the artwork to market the product (website, social media, email, listings, ads).

What you cannot do:

• Manufacture more than 500 units without upgrading the licence.
• Use the artwork on other product types (for example, turning a pin design into stickers) without written permission.
• Edit/redraw the artwork, create variations, or commission derivatives without written permission.
• Transfer or sublicense the artwork, except sharing files with your chosen manufacturer solely for production.

Rights: Non-exclusive licence. I retain copyright. The licence is non-transferable and may not be assigned to another party.

Timeframe: typically 1 to 2 weeks once your commission is confirmed and the deposit is paid, depending on complexity and how quickly I receive feedback

Revisions: 1 at the sketch stage + 1 round of minor tweaks after the cleaned final artwork is supplied for review (colour tweaks, small detail changes)

Need more than 500 units, exclusivity, or full ownership?

No problem, extended licensing is available, including higher unit caps, time-limited unlimited production, exclusivity, and buyouts. Just mention your plans in your enquiry and I’ll send you the relevant options.

 

What you receive (commercial commissions)

• 1 original illustration per agreed concept
• Production-ready files supplied in the agreed formats
• Reasonable manufacturer adjustments included (for example, small line-weight tweaks and plating considerations), subject to approval

 

PERSONAL USE

Designed for special gifts, personal artwork, or just because you fancy something unique! (No commercial use.)

💌 HOW TO BOOK

1. Commissions are open on a limited basis. If you'd like to work with me, just fill out my Commission Request Form and tell me a bit about your idea!
2. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can with next steps.
   
3. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your slot
4. Sketch stage approval, then final artwork, then file delivery once the final balance is paid

COMMISSION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read through these before submitting a commission request. By booking a commission, you agree to the terms below.

💌 Communication & Timelines

• I aim to respond to new commission enquiries within 3 to 5 working days.
• Once your commission is confirmed and the deposit is paid, turnaround is typically 1 to 2 weeks, depending on complexity and how quickly I receive feedback.
• I will keep you updated if there are delays.

💸 Payments & Pricing

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your slot.
• The remaining balance will be invoiced after the final artwork is complete, based on the agreed rate.
• Paying a deposit secures a booking slot only and does not grant permission to manufacture or publish the artwork.
• The licence becomes active once the final balance is paid in full.
• All payments are made via PayPal invoice in GBP (£)
• Invoices will be sent to you via. email.

✏️ Revisions

• You will receive a rough sketch for approval. One round of sketch revisions is included.
• After the cleaned final artwork is supplied for review, one round of minor changes is included (for example, colour tweaks and small detail changes).
• Additional revisions or major changes are charged as an add-on and quoted before work continues.

📁 Final Files

• You will receive a high-resolution production-ready file suitable for manufacturing, plus any other file types agreed at the start.
• Vector files are not included (unless agreed), as I do not usually work in vector-based programmes.
• Where practical, please credit Lula Rocks as the artist/illustrator/creator when sharing the artwork publicly (for example, on social media or product listings).
• If the artwork is used to create physical products, I would love to see the results. Please send high-quality photos once your items are made. I may share them on my website or social media (with credit to your brand).

🔒 Usage & Copyright

• For commercial commissions, you may manufacture the agreed physical products using the artwork only within the selected licensing tier and scope.
• Tier 1 commercial use (up to 500 units for one product type) is included unless otherwise stated.
• I retain copyright unless a separate buyout agreement is signed.
• I retain the right to display the commissioned artwork and/or photos of the finished product in my portfolio, website, and social media for self-promotion.
• For commercial commissions, you may only produce the agreed physical products using the artwork. You cannot use the artwork on other product types (for example, stickers, apparel, prints) unless agreed in writing.
• Artwork may not be edited, separated, traced, reused, or adapted into new designs or products (including stickers, prints, or alternate formats) without written permission. Additional licensing fees may apply.
• Sublicensing is not permitted, except supplying files to your manufacturer solely for production.
• If I feature the finished product on my website or social media, I will always credit your brand where possible.

🙅 Cancellations & Refunds

• If you cancel before I begin work, your deposit can be transferred to a future project.
• If work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
• If I need to cancel your project for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

🌈 Style & Expectations

• I only take on commissions that suit my existing illustration style. Please browse my portfolio to get a feel for my work.
• I don’t accept requests to copy other artist styles.
